  Director of Gossanepidnadzor department - Jakupov Valeriy Sarimovich

Was born on August 4, 1950 in Karaganda city, nationality - Tatar.
Finishing the secondary school worked at the Karaganda machine-building factory after "Parkhamenko" as assistance of electro-winder, then electro-winder. In 1968 entered the Karaganda state medical institute on sanitary-and-hygienic faculty which graduated in 1974 by profession sanitary inspector. After graduation of the institute he arrived in Ust-Kamenogorsk. From March 2001 till January 2005 - head of the East Kazakhstan regional Administration of Gossanepidnadzor. Since January 2005 was appointed director of Department of Gossanepidnadzor of the Eastern Kazakhstan.

Has the higher qualifying category of sanitary inspector on general hygiene. He was awarded in 1982 with badge "Honourable worker of public health services", in 1999 for merits in business of public health care awarded with breast badge.
Married, has three children. Hobbies: dacha, reading, sports.

Direction of activity
Purposes of activity of public institution "Department of State sanitary-and-epidemiologic supervision of the East Kazakhstan region" are:

  • Realization of laboratory researches, tool gaugings, physical factors of environment necessary for: sanitary-and-epidemiologic examination of objects being under control administration's sanitary-and-epidemiologic supervision; in the centers of infectious and parasitic diseases; during investigation of group, professional poisonings. Occupational diseases: carrying out of socially-hygienic monitoring;
  • Carrying out of necessary kinds of disinfection works in the centers of infectious diseases and at objects being under control of bodies of sanitary-and-epidemiologic supervision of the region.

For achievement of the specified purpose in accordance with item 9 of the law RК "On sanitary-and-epidemiologic well-being of the population", the Center carries out of the following kinds of activity:

  • Conducts sanitary-and-epidemiologic examination;
  • Carries out of sanitary-chemical, bacteriological, virologic, parasitologic, radiological and toxicological laboratory researches, gaugings of noise and vibration, electromagnetic fields, etc. factors of inhabitancy of the person;
  • Conducts disinfection measures;
  • Participates in carrying out of sanitary-and-epidemiologic socially-hygienic monitoring;
  • Participates in diagnostics of infectious and parasitic diseases;
  • Participates on a contractual basis in carrying out of certified researches and examinations in accordance with the application of citizens and legal persons;
  • Approves and introduces new devices and equipment, techniques of laboratory researches and gaugings;
  • Carries out storage, transportation and use preventive (immunobiological, diagnostic, disinfectant) preparations;
  • Participate in propaganda of healthy way of life
