Nurlan Nigmatulin made a working visit to Ust-Kamenogorsk city

The Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlan Nigmatulin continued his working trip to the East in Ust-Kamenogorsk city. He visited City Employment Center 

While familiarizing with the work of Ust-Kamenogorsk city employment center, the Chairman of the Mazhilis was presented the drawing process of providing social assistance to the population. There he visited the self-service area, where citizens fill out the necessary documents to apply for targeted social assistance (TSA), as well as the Department, where benefits are drawn.   

It is worth noting that at the present time new provisions of the rules for drawing state assistance are being explained in East Kazakhstan. From the beginning of this year, TSA will be drawn once a quarter, as the difference between income per capita and the poverty line for all family members. The benefits are planned to be paid to all large families with 4 or more minor children or full-time students under the age of 23 years. In East Kazakhstan, according to preliminary estimates, more than 12,000 families will be able to get new benefits.

Nurlan Nigmatulin also talked to mothers with many children, who suggested several corrections to the new situation.

While visiting D. Serikbayev EKSTU, Nurlan Nigmatulin was presented the scientific potential and modern technological projects of the University. The Chairman of the Mazhilis met with students addressing important topics. One of them is that this 2020 is declared the Year of Volunteer, where each young person can become an agent of good deeds. Concluding the meeting, Nurlan Nigmatulin wished students personal growth and success.

Also, the Chairman of the Mazhilis visited the Golden Altai Museum, where the exhibition "Gold of the Great Steppe" was presented.

At the end of the working visit, Nurlan Nigmatulin will visit one of the largest medical centers in the region - Children's Hospital with 200 beds. Its construction has been recently completed.

The hospital was built as part of the Regional Development Program. It became part of the unified maternal and child health service. The building has departments of pediatrics, neurology, neurosurgery, traumatology, intensive care and five operating rooms of the new technology. The TRIAGE system is launched in the admission department to quickly receive sick children. This new medical facility is a step forward to a new level of children's health-improving activities. The Children's Health-Improving Department for 50 beds will be launched with the support of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Leader of the Nation, within the framework of the Kamkorlyk Road Map.
