Akimat meeting

Issues of implementing the East Kazakhstan Territory Development Program for 2016-2020 were discussed today at the meeting of regional akimat.

Special attention was paid to the sectors where indicators have not reached the designated plan. These are ecology, agriculture, industry, infrastructure, healthcare, employment and social protection.

Thus, in the agriculture, the main indicators have been reached, production grew by 105.2%, however, the indicator of the share of small cattle in farms has not been reached.

And in the healthcare, the infant mortality and oncological mortality turned out to be the main problem points. In the employment and social protection, attention should be given to the increasing number of repetition of offences.

In the industry, the planned value has not been reached in the production of non-metallic mineral products, light industry and basic pharmaceutical products.

- The indicator of the production of light industry has not been reached, not because it cannot be objectively performed, but because of the fact that you are not working well. This task must be implemented properly. - said Danial Akhmetov.

Also, the head of the region drew attention to the shortcomings in the healthcare, calling them inexcusable, despite the huge investments in this sector. He said that in terms of infant mortality, it is necessary to conduct an in-depth analysis and find ways to solve the problem.
